PLEAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE do something about this overall greyish look, which is barely readable and which makes this site look like an add for a 60's computer platform.
If only the news headlines were quicker to spot then that would help a lot.
As it is now it's not pulling any users over from other camps, thats for sure.
but i love the icons on the forums part on the frontpage.....they're beautiful man

You are aware that you can change the theme - right?

Choose the "red" one in themes.

I prefer it, it actually looks OK in IBrowse now, the previous site sucked. It only looked right in a PC or Mac browser - or that dredful OWB that locks up most of the time.

Looked fine in NetSurf.
Anyway, this is the temporary site so it will go back to looking bad in IBrowse (along with most of the rest of the web) once the proper site is back up.

Okay changing the theme made it look better, definately! - but overall I still think it could need some super polishing. If you think about it this site is the only true community site for AmigaOS, and as such should shine and embrace this extremely convienient fact, and I don't think it does that!
As it looks now it could be any kind of website on the web...what makes this the very home of AmigaOS?, the boing ball in the top banner?

Totally off-topic, but have you tried OWB v3.31 ? It works very well, and I haven't had it crash on me once (that I recall). It's also pretty responsive most of the time, although no-doubt IBrowse will often be faster on modern web sites, since it ignores CSS & fancy effects.
