I don't know my actual Map ROM jumper position - on my screen grab is 127.5 Fast RAM - jumper already ON?

Hi,

My Blizzard 2060 has had already MapROM really ON (127.5 MB Fast RAM) and I have now test with MapROM OFF - Problem with BootLoader continue.

Hi,

I have test with real ROM 3.0 A1200 version (2x IC) in Micronik Zorro II BusBoard Kickstart switch - again BootLoader Problem.

ROM 3.1 A1200 not working in Micronik BusBoard Kickstart switch - power led flash.

All Kickstart ROMs are original.

OS 4.0 Classic need ROM 3.1 or 3.0 also OK?

OS4 for classic does not, and will not, support the A500 or A2000, and will not support pre-series developer PPC boards.

It doesn't matter what Wikipedia says. There are only three machines supported:

- A1200
- A3000
- A4000

If it works on any other machine, that's a coincidence and not intentional. The A500 is certainly not among the supported devices.

As I already told you in private mail.

I was wrong by the way, MapROM needs to be *off* not on. Otherwise, the mapping mechanism isn't available to bootloader.

You needn't write sorry - no problem make more hardware Photos A500+ DevPPC.

My first main work is testing with OS 4.0 Classic, next Photos & video come later.

Last today status with A1200 ROM 3.0 + MapROM OFF on Blizzard 2060 - constantly BootLoader error...

I don't know what need (hw checking?) BootLoader and how make eventually BootLoader "modification" for A500+ board

Please for all: Sorry my bad english.

Did you hook up a serial cable and see what exactly the output is?

in your startup-sequence, where the line c:bootloader is, add this:

c:bootloader COMMANDLINE="debuglevel=10 serial"

note that this will slow down the machine because of all the serial output. You could try debuglevel=5 for a bit less output and a bit faster response.

I have null serial cable (from my work - here is for flashing SAT and DVB-T recievers) and no output in Terminal. (XP Hyper Terminal)

Sorry for query - on OS 4.0 Classic install CD is more SS - who SS is main?

Hmmmm

I just picked up one of these Microtech towered A500 systems in the weekend (an auction I just won recently)

So tell me (since I haven't open the tower yet) does this turn our standard A500 or A500+ into a fully fledged B2000?

Thanks for any insight

Edit: It's okay now, I opened it, curiousity got the better of me since posting... It looks very nice inside and sports a FPUless 030 (not sure on the mhz) but it seems to have memory and was made by microrobitics 1991...

Got the A590 and A500 memory expansion and all inside...

Anyone know where I can get the manuals for this? The docs supplied are unfortunately in german...

Thank you I'll wait your pictures, because I'll like see your Amiga 500+ with PPC, yeah, this is as put in one PC 286 one Pentium 100, but Amiga is possible and in PC not.
