Thanks for the offer and info, as this is a brand new PCI card. I think I will hang on for now and wait and see what Mathew at Amigakit comes back with and go from there.

I did that hack job. My modified port is for the older prism2 v1 device, and only so it wouldn't freeze when you did a soft-reboot. The later prism2 v2 device works fine on the Sam Flex.
I going to take a guess and say that the atheros5000 device should work fine too.
Best I try this out with one of my NETPCI001 cards which are "fortunately" 802.11b-compliant
Posting this from the X1000 so I guess Flexi, you're up

My DWL-G510 card arrived today, but it seems to be rev C1 wich should mean it is RAlink card. :(
Does any one know, would miniPCI to PCI adapter work? Seems that I can't found now PCI card with atheros chipset, but I could get MiniPCI->PCI adapter and miniPCI card with atheros chipset.
I belive that this would work, IF miniPCi to PCI adapter is OK.
ATHEROS AR5005G MINI PCI 802.11 b/g
But how about this
D-Link AirPlus XtremeG DWL-G520. DWL-G520 should be OK, but makes AirPlus XtremeG difference?
I too have a C1 510 here, does that mean it won't work? I don't really want to take my machine apart and spent time setting it up if it's not going to be compatible with the driver...

the one I bought from them was not flashed up to support WPA. Did that myself though. I may have ordered shortly before the WPA driver was released though, I don't remember. but it was quite old firmware in the card I received.
I ended up getting my own broadband line put in my room and my X1000 and Flex are hooked into the back of my new router. Not sure what Ill do with these 2 wireless cards now but I dont like there future prospects lol
