SMTube : new version on OS4Depot

I have one problem with the latest version from os4depot.
I can't play any music videos from the main page.

I didn't have read any posts, I have only downloaded the latest version from os4depot, deleted old version and then installed the new version.

Otherwise say more precisely your problem, failing video,etc.

I think I have the same problem as TommySammy. I cant get SMTube to show me the latest music videos, when pressing music tab in the GUI.

If I manually search music by typing music in search box it work, but only this way am I able to use SMTube.

The same problem I have with "Most Recent", "Most Viewed" and "Sports"

After this i got the new yt.js update
Now it works

Maybe I need update QT. I will do some testing later.

Go into the "beta" drawer and download minimal or the full version. I use minimal. Then go to the "release" drawer and download libQtCore.so.4.7.0

Install the beta, then rename the libQtCore.so.4.7.0 to libQtCore.so and copy it over the old at qt:lib/. At least its how i did it and SMtube works and even can snapshot the gui position. It would not do it for me with the public version. Ofcourse rename your old setup if you want to go back.

Fixed vevo version, 15.1 svn6689 on OS4Depot and AmiUpdate.

Hopefully that Ricardo 'rvm' Villalba is really motivated to maintain the YouTube script every day.

I hope that OS4 users don't forget to manifest their reconnaissance

Since few days, the first video in SMTube list is a "www.youtube.com/devicesupport";
"YouTube is upgrading to a newer version, which is not supported by this device or app..."

SMTube will be soon unusable...

Maybe that it could be useful to give feedbacks and motivation to his author, Rvm, to motivate him to adapt SMTube.

Stupid question...was really so big trouble make some sort of YouTube app for AmigaOS4 to simply wathc at YouTube videos?

Thank you to have take few time to post a feedback on rvm website. It's kind.

I hope that all OS4 SMTube users (286 according to OS4depot downloads) will "waste" few minutes of their time to try to save OS4 SMTube

Oh, you make me so sad with this news! I left a post on that forum as well. I mightily appreciate smTube on my X1000. I have it set to stream videos at 360 but save them as 720, and I am all the time saving videos to watch at my leisure or often as I want on my X1000 with mplayer.

There are some tutorial videos and music videos I want, so saving like mad now, while this thing still works.
