Too early, i just use Andy's SketchBlock and by some naive load a png, and do export to ilbm (which is dopus5 format images), but when i choice it as image for button, dopus5 just crashes. Imho dopus5 ilbm are diffent in compare with ilbm which done by skethblock (if i remember right via netpbm or so).
In other words, what programm can save in dopus5's ilbm format, and what kind of format is it ?:)
Edit: I have emailed the glow icons cd guys to see if I can get permission to put the toolbar images in the files section of the group. One address is dead, hopefully I'll get a reply from one of the other three.

I doubt that will be a problem, filer checks for double clicks on the workbench screen, if you run dopus on it's own screen there should be no problem. If you run dopus on workbench then I doubt you'd be running filer as well.
Just checked and FilerCX does nothing if you double click on the dopus desktop on the workbench screen.

Probably 8 bit so you would need to use something like PPaint.
Yep, 8 bit palette ones, what mean that in 256 colors it will looks pretty cool. I test it by just opening pngs in the PerfectPaint, and then "save as picture", type name of file like "test.ilbm", and when press save, it ask me how much colors i want, and should i do ditherins or nope. And while all is ok (with any amount of colors), PerfectPaint seems load png with transparency a bit strange (not with black background, but with purple background), and so conversion done also with that color. I do not remember details anymore, but should't be there possibility to have transpareny even in palette based images ? (check image at bottom, to see how it looks like)
I also tryed PersonalPaint: that one hard to understand. Loose half of hour, just to find out that i can't save image in the size i need. I.e. i load 24x24 png, set dithering, set amount of colors, and it saves all the time in 320x200, and does not matter what i do.
@Severin Ok, find out some ugly method: PerfectPaint, load aiss image, and manually delete all that pink crap (that will be transapreny), then save/save rendered/256cols + floyd and there is:
Would it be possible to change the image loading code to use datatypes? The results would probably look horrible with pngs but the current images shouldn't be affected and it probably needs doing for the native version anyway.

With native builds for sure all will going good and system friendly way.
Btw, have you any idea how to do that: bank of buttons (let's say just 5 buttons), which names are DH0: DH1: DH2: RAM: TEST: , and pressin on any of them will open a volume in currently active lister (or, if none active, then open new one) ? I.e. i want to mimik dopus4's left side at bottom.
@RIBDEVIL You mean icons on desktop ? I.e. grey colors,non-transparency and so on ? If so, it is because of non supported icons format, which in todo to add when native builds will be done.

Checked the manual and scandir will open the specified path in the current src lister and open a new one if needed.
After some extensive testing with my button-bank issue, I've discovered that I only get a DSI when I try to load a button-bank that has the drag border set to the "Right" or "Bottom" of the bank. "Top", "Left", "Automatic" and "None" do NOT result in a DSI.
Thanks. However "fixes" might be a little misleading. It just turns off the Customizable Screen Title. While this does make the Titlebar look nicer, it is at the expense of that feature.
Yes I noticed that, I didn't think it would turn it off completely as it also set the same text in the wb title bar, would be a quick fix to only turn off the custom titlebar code and keep the wb title bar but to be honest it's a trivial problem, other things are needed far more like supporting large files, getting used/free space right for big partitions as it only gives a max of 4GB in used/free at the moment.

@Antique I don't know if they have made stubs for all AmigaOS4.1 API in the JMP tables. Anyway its easier to rewrite stuff and debug stuff once its compiled as AmigaOS4 native.
