I'll update to this from 3.7 to see if it is any better.
I must admit I miss the download option.

Good work, Joerg.

Strange as it might seem I prefer to use the older version of OWB for the fact that it doesn't support downloading... I like to see what is in the actual download url... and some sites do there best to hide this information, via java etc...

but yes, I can understand your weakness here

Yep, status bar are very need it (also as support of downloading many files on one time). Like morphos's OWB, or like aros's OWB.

Also, it is possible add to context menu "open link in new tab" ?

that context menu has been there for some time,
open it with the middle mouse button, or change the tooltype to make it use left mouse button instead.

It feels a bit slower here... especially typing text in textstrings/fields are a lot slower :( ...

Erm, if the last one was 3.9, shouldn't this be 4.0?

No? This is revision 10 of version 3. Nothing unusual about that.

Unfortunately that old memory leak problem still exists in 3.10. (CPU usage is 100% when amount of free memory is dropping.)

OK, typing this in OWB 3.10 now on a Sam440, so far so good, although it's a bit slow to type in text. I had 292MB free on my Sam as I started typing this (the system has 512MB of total RAM), and right now there's only 273 MB free. But it doesn't seem to be related to the amount of text, if I type in something and delete it afterwards, it doesn't give me all the memory back that I had before I started typing it, in fact deleting text seems to further reduce memory, so there's definitely something fishy with the text input part of OWB. And now it's down to 262 MB.

EDIT: After submitting the above post I just let it reload the page and then memory started to decrease very rapidly, by about 3MB every 5 seconds, even though there was nothing moving on the page, no animation, and there's also no text field. So the leak may not be text input-specific after all...

EDIT2: Even stranger, after the second text I submitted immediately above, this rapid memory decrease was not happening.

I think it would be less confusing to non-programmers (like me) if developers used 2 digit decimals for their version numbers. For example 3.09 instead of 3.9. That way version 3.11 is clearly newer than version 3.02.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Yeah? What happens when he gets to 3.100 then?

Fonts.

What's happened to them? They looked great in 3.7 just upgraded to 3.10 and they are all serifed, and seem out of focus. I noticed a reference to alias tables do I need to set something up?

Well .... that was fun.

I was typing a post over here with OWB 3.10 and my machine froze up solid.

Typing was very slow, same as on amigaworld. Either OWB 3.10 is using way more memory as soon as it loads or it is eating up memory as I type or move around from web page to web page.

I have a MicroA1 with IBM PPC 750 GX cpu and standard 256MB RAM.

Typing this post with OWB 3.7 .....

View source seems to be broken here.

I just get The lines numbers down the side and afew horizontal blues lines. Anyone else see this?

BTW typing in the DHTML version of this input form seems faster than the simple text area!

Just stop thinking of it as a fraction. Its version and revision. The revision is not a fraction, it is a revision count.
