Is there a way to display how much free memory out of the 512MB of RAM? I have managed to display the amount of Video Ram available but the memory is always showing 512MB.
Also is it possible to have windows that have their own bar? With the Back and Forward buttons? I think it'd be useful.
And finally...I have tried to run a film .mpg in DVPlayer and all I get is a black screen, the .m4v won't play at all.

Hava a look at Prefs/workbench and select Screen Title Format/Insert Then select memory (first item in the left window and then select the option you want from under show This allows you to display Free, Used, Total, or Largest Memory. Also don't forget to include a text name for the variable.
Just downloaded your awesome, RunInUAE and I am testing it right now. I must say it is good, VERY good, what I was dreaming of years and years ago, double click an ADF and off you go! Well done!
Question: Can you run a game/application in a window?
* For Quake and its mods, I at least use both software render Quake, and GLQuake. Reason being that many mods just crash with GLQuake, even one example that is reported as working on basic Win32 GLQuake. The latest OS4 GLQuake is also much better than the earlier ones.
! This wasn't asked perhaps, but a slight extension... Last time I tried, uploading videos to Youtube (and a few other places) didn't require Flash either (OWB worked).
for quake2, you have two options. if you already have the game data, you can use capehill's port; alternatively you can purchase the full amiga version from hyperion at amigakit. peter gordon just recently updated the hyperion version, so it's worth a look. don't expect incredible performance, though. on my SAM i get around 21FPS with high quality settings.
for quake3 thomas frieden authored a port available at os4depot, which capehill based his port on as well. i haven't tried either version since i just have a SAM, so i imagine it wouldn't be terribly playable.
I have two front USB ports on my case, can I connect them internally (on the motherboard)?
Have a look at the manual which came with your Sam (or find the latest one as PDF on ACube's web site). There are headers on the motherboard for this, and you can see which ones they are, and how the pinout is, in that manual. If your front ports are fitted with standard cables with header plugs, it should be relatively straightforward to connect them. At least it was on mine back when I did it a couple of years ago.
Thanks Niels. Had a look and the two front USB 2.0 ports have a cable with 5 holes (for 5 pins each) the SAM has two rows of 4, I connected them the right way and now I have two front USB ports! Thanks!
