The "FPS" setting shows you the current frame rate.
In the ToolTypes you can also activate your own screen mode. If the setting is put in brackets, the Workbench resolution is used. Default is 1280x720p to make it playable on lower devices too.

Publications : ARC4NERD Update 1.1 released
Posted by AndreasM on 2026/5/28 14:30:40 (3 reads)
Publications

To be precise, the update has actually been online since May 23rd, and all copies we have shipped already include this update.

Changes:

- Fixed a bug where the ball would disappear if it went out of bounds and was shot at the exact same moment.
- Fixed a bug that previously limited players to entering their name into the high score list only once.
- Fixed a bug that prevented high score entries after defeating the final boss—entries are now working again.
- The final boss can now be fought any number of times, rather than just once.
- After the game ends, the interface now indicates whether a high score entry is possible. Previously, players were taken directly back to the start menu. The game now distinguishes between cases where too few points were earned and cases where the difficulty level was changed. High scores remain possible only in "Machine Mode."
- Fixed a bug affecting the Double Bonus in certain levels.
- On the start screen, the selected game mode is now correctly reset following a restart.
- Fixed minor typos.
- Slightly adjusted ball behavior.

How do I get the update?

- If you purchased ARC4NERD directly from APC&TCP: Log in at https://www.amigashop.org and simply re-download the game archive.
- If you purchased ARC4NERD from a retailer: Send us a photo of your copy along with your account username for https://www.amigashop.org, and we will unlock the update for you in the shop.

This also applies, of course, to the Special Edition that was available exclusively via the ARC.
