I'm proud to announce the availability of the 1st public beta release of the AmiDARK Engine in it's "2D Only" version.
The engine is now "complete" and "strong" enough to allow you to create 2D games with ease under C & C++.

A new plugin for Hollywood has been released today: The SQLite 3 plugin allows Hollywood scripts to create and manipulate SQLite3 databases.

This is the second public beta of AmiSystemRestore:

* I am now more confident about the reliability of AmiSystemRestore, as I have finally understood (and fixed!) a wierd problem that I had previously just worked-around.
* Fixed multi-language installers not starting.
* No-longer sometimes has a tiny window in the top-left of the screen.
* The name of a restore point is no-longer of limited length.
* Now has some nice icons, and uses a proper icon when iconified.
* It is now more clearly indicated when there is a debug log that needs reporting to me.
* and more!

The English and German issue 98 (September/October 2012) of the print magazine Amiga Future has been distributed today, and can also be ordered directly from the editorial office of Amiga Future, and the other Amiga dealers that stock the magazine.

From from the issue 94 the Amiga Future magazines will be printed in full colour.

On Sunday 9th of September Amiga North Thames usergroup will be meeting once again.

This meeting will feature a retro Ultimate Skidmarks informal gaming tournament.

We had 10 attended LAG 28 today thanks to all, one of which is a new member "David" who after the shock of meeting with us has promised to come back :)

RunInUAE is the easiest & most fool-proof way to run Classic (68k) Amiga games & demos on AmigaOS4 (and comes with OS4 since Update 4).

This is a small "quick fix" release of RunInUAE:
* Fixed WHLoad games not working when they use "kick34005.A500". AmigaOS4.1 Update 5 must have been installed first.
