Hardware News

London, 20th July 2010

We are pleased to announce that we have finalised the design of the revision 2 "Nemo" motherboard. Following an extensive testing programme, as well as implementing a number of minor hardware fixes, we have opted to specify an upgrade to the "Xena" XMOS subsystem to provide greater functionality and performance. The revision 2 standard will be the version shipping under the AmigaOne X1000 Beta Test Programme. With the design finalised, Hyperion Entertainment will soon be sending out the Beta Test information pack to everyone who registered their interest in joining the AmigaOne X1000 Beta Test programme.

Sadly we have to raise the price of the Open Video Toaster Instant Download ISO. You will still be able to download the main Source code parts of the Amiga Video Toaster Flyer for free but the more complete Source code CD-ROM ISO will no longer be $9.95.

We will honor the $9.95 price for the rest of this week so you have a few days to buy if it's something you want or need.

After seeing a video posted in this forum where the AROS development was visualised, I got curious and wanted to see it myself, in realtime.
Well, not AROS in particular, but a CVS repo being visualised. The geek in me took over and I ported GOURCE, and now you can watch it yourself, in realtime under AmigaOS4.
Enjoy!
