Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are proud to announce that version 1.6 of the AVCodec plugin for Hollywood has just been released. This plugin allows Hollywood scripts to load all kinds of video and audio formats supported by FFmpeg. Version 1.6 is a minor update which contains some enhancements, bugfixes and support for the macOS arm64 and Linux arm64 platforms.

It's called MP3Enc and allows scripts to use the new sound export interface introduced with Hollywood 11 to encode sound streams as MP3s. Constant and variable bitrates as well as certain quality settings are supported. It's also possible to directly record audio data as MP3 now.

For fans of role-playing games and their battles with figures and dice, cards, or for fans of the game "Los Malditos del Valle del Cerro" comes this mini 2D game with the essence of the original Battle Board game in its 2.00 version. Here you can play an exciting duel between the heroes and villains or enemies of the game in a death tournament.

The English and German issue 179 (March/April 2026) of our print magazine Amiga Future has been distributed today, and can also be ordered directly from our editorial office at Amiga Future, and from other Amiga dealers that stock it.

Version 2.1 of the ZIP plugin for Hollywood is now available for download. This is a minor update which contains a few new features and bugfixes.
