I found the finding the OS4. 1 Prefs tricky to navigate at first after about 5 years away from Amigas and had some thoughts about how it could be organised to be more 'new-comer friendly'. This would involve integrating the various programs through the use of tabs and hopefully some re-structuring with removal of redundant features to make for easier/faster configuration.

Seems that few people use sub-dockies, and even fewer use Smart sub-dockies. So this picture shows how I currently use them on my machine.  (The backdrop was set to pale blue for screenshot sanity, and small download size.

during my amiga demos at work and elsewhere, i tend to demonstrate the terrific classic graphics programs available for amiga NG systems. my personal favorite is probably arteffect. here is a screenshot of it running on my SAM440ep-flex with a few windows open to give a flavor of the GUI.
