@all that know

Heh, thats not fair, leaving us who know nothing in the dark

I agree, but anyway....

I'm smiling too, thanks and hugs to Joerg Strohmeyer!

The temperature here (Detroit, Michigan area) went to 90F+ here and the
CPUTemp Warning! worked perfect. I had set temp warning at 45C and it hit
that yesterday. Nice! The mouse acts like it got broken legs and cripples
around. A Warning window pops up after shuting down the app asking for
a continue.

I have a CoolerMaster Temperature gauge, but this much better!

I right now moving to 95F again. I think the A1 should have the day off!

Hi @Lio
this does not stop QuakeII from running ?

You need to tie the system to Q2, at least I thought? The installer creates an
file folder: Sys:Prefs/Env-Archive/Quake2/InstallationPath
My InstallationPath points to DH1:Quake2.I know this link works because Q2 will
read the Commodity "Exchange", if it's active. It cost a 'life' to learn that fact.
:)

00023 : quake2 [4] : FAIL = Open("baseq2/pak0.pak",OLD) = [0x00000000]
00055 : quake2 [4] : FAIL = IsInteractive("baseq2/default.cfg")

Don't these functions need the full path to 'baseq2'?

I'm curious about your monitor. Same one used as the PC or a different one?

@AmiKit

I would suggest to do the following:

- Get into early startup menu and select "Boot without Startup-Sequence"
- In the initial CLI, enter "set echo on" (without the quotes)
- enter "execute s/startup-sequence"

You should now see startup-sequence execute, and echo each command prior to execution. Once it hangs, you will see what the offending program was.

@AmiKit

Maybe you experience the "RoadShow waits for a long time if no network connected" effect.

To test it, add a "Run >NIL:" before the "AddNetInterface" line of your startup-sequence. If your AOne starts faster after that, you got the cause of your problem

With kind regards

Re: USB adapter

I only got the PS/2 adapter. BUT.. I've decided to shell out the money and get a Tank Stick, which has built in USB functionality. So I will attempt to hook that up tonight somehow. I'm going to pick it up in 2-3 hours. I'm not looking forwards to this, because I had problems with AmigaInput under Update4, let alone hacking the files together and using it under OS4 Final. :(

I've got a few computers in this room, The A1 is MY machine, so I'm going to keep the 1 player stick connected there, and hook up the Tank Stick to one of the PCs which the kids use. However, I will try and check out AmigaInput compatibility sometime! Then I will update the Review accordingly. :)
