Crikey chaps have you noticed how 3CAG members have 3 of the top 4 posting positions. lol

I think it would be funny if you changed it to weekly stats like a record singles chart.

This weeks top poster is, this weeks highest post climber is etc etc

smashing pop pickers

Now that sounds really useful. It is so easy to lose shells behind other windows when you have several open.

Re: Browser on Amiga

I know that what i am going to say could be considered wrong but i think that to have a good modern browser, we should ask to someone with a lot of experience such as someone of the DevTeam of Amiga OS 4.0..

A good modern browser is IMHO a good startpoint for the amiga to comeback..

So i think that the Friedens and all the DevTeam of the AMIGA OS should consider this..

I really appreciate what all the programmers around the world are doing to update Aweb or to porting Mozilla on the amiga, but someone with experience and that could work hard during the day is needed to have that piece of software..

That' s my wish

@GrumpyOldMan:

Ok! That could be the reason. I suggest to use a small separated partition for that purpose, because IBrowse2.3 can do nasty things.
I'm looking forward for IB2.4.

Adding to my post #83

It seems the "Flat View" and "Newest First" only affects comments in the gallery and on news items, but not the threads in the forums, maybe this can be adapted to the forums aswell?

@Chip

IBrowse cache is set to RAM Disk.

@all

Thanks for your help, javascript sounds like a good suspect for the problems. I'll check my IBrowse prefs.

Ol1 is one of the maintainers (if not the only) of the gtk to MUI project, which we need.
Otherwise there won't be a native gui for Amizilla

As i understand it, they drive on more than one street with porting, if it builds on AROS,
it won't take much to get it build on classic, if it builds on classic, they'll try on OS4

I hope i didn't mix it up, not following that close lately

You need RAPlay off Aminet and if you want to stream them files, you also need StreamRA

edit:

In this archive there is also an ARexx script to stream .ra files straight off
the web using the widely used .ram files .. to use this you need to get and
install rxsocket.library (which you should anyways, it rules) and set the
following MIME-types in your favourite browser:

MIME: audio/x-pn-realaudio
Extension: ram
Ext. Viewer: (selected)
Viewer: SYS:RexxC/RX
Arguments: Your:Path/StreamRA.rx %f

If you make sure the S-bit is set on StreamRA.rx you won't have to put RX
infront of it ("Protect StreamRA.rx +s" (if so, put StreamRA.rx as viewer))...
