Yeah, second, a history for the AmigaShell would be the missing piece to make it perfect
I thought that was a given - not much point in having scrollbars if there is no history to scroll back to, is there? ![](https://www.amigans.net/uploads/smil3dbd4e29bbcc7.gif) btw you can log things using the recorder command. I don't have the doc in front of me, but I don't see why you couldn't add it to shell-startup so it logs everything, if you really wanted to. Chris

What kind of filesystem are you using for storing the IBrowse cache? I suggest to create a small partition with SFS for it.

I have this weird problem. If I use IBrowse for a while and then quit, the system goes into "slow motion mode". If I open other applications (or even IBrowse) after that, their loading times are much longer. If I start a movie clip with Mplayer, it loads much slower and playback studders a lot. Basicly, any disk operation done with the machine takes a lot of time (like DMA would suddenly be swithed off).
The problem goes away if I warm boot the machine. Nothing crashes, so there are no crash logs to examine. Any ideas what could cause this phenomenon?
Machine is unfixed A1-XE-G4@800 MHz, 512 MB RAM, SiI0680, Radeon 7000, Soundblaster Live running OS4 Pre-Release Update 4 and IBrowse 2.3.

Recently, I have watched: "The Matador" Not to everybody's taste, but I found this film genuinely funny. Never thought I would say this, but Pierce Brosnan does an excellent job as the weird hitman ![](https://www.amigans.net/uploads/smil3dbd4d6422f04.gif) "16 Blocks" Reminds me of the old classic "Gauntlet" (starring Clint Eastwood). Bruce Willis does one of his best performances since the original "Die Hard". "Equilibrium" Science fiction action movie, cool movie with good plot. Starring Christian Bale ("Batman Begins").

Jack Hi Jack, Same old, same old. It's bloated to the sky! A PPC AOS4.0 native browser with Java and CSS support is what we want. Now that Java has gone completely open source, stuff should really be cooking for AOS4.0!!! Could Java be recompiled for AOS4.0 PPC now?

Joining commercial and non-commercial product? Too many obstacles in the way imho. (I hope I'm wrong though) Maybe mozilla on X11@OS4? Just a thought... Jack

Saluditos,

Helllloooooo Ferry!!!!! Love that avatar! Gimme a beer too! Hehe! Oh, what am talking about? I think that a dev should start a thread, THEN it should be locked, and when he/she has more to say THEY unlock the thread and add another post to it. THAT WAY in one view, a person can see all progress, how it advanced. And of course we, who want to supply input, start threads on whatever it is we want to have a say about to them.
