First I would download the ISO and burn to CD, so that I can use OS4.0 final straight away, then pay for and request an official package. (Manuals too please) I still have all the manuals for all my computers, except the Ohio Superboard II. The Sinclair QL "File" was lovely to use. The Only way to code is with paper manuals next to the computer plus a blank A4 notepad. Cheers, Tim

Quote: Our speculation: A few years ago, the Eyetech company were producing the AmigaOne computers under the license from Amiga Inc. Eyetech does not produce any Amiga computers any more, however they still have the license. We know that Guru Meditation is in contact with Eyetech so it might happen that they will acquire the license from them. It would mean that Guru Meditation does not necessarily need to negotiate with Amiga Inc. which could save a lot of time.
Source: http://www.amikit.amiga.sk/panda.htmCan a license be sold to another company without the agreement from Amiga Inc.?

Btw I failed to mention that I had everything working with a CRT monitor, no problem at all. Even with adding modes. I have ATIRadeon.chip 51.13 VSYNCMIN=60 VSYNCMAX=75 HSYNCMIN=30000 HSYNCMAX=80000 My LCD actually supports wider specs, 50-85 & 24000-82000 but that makes no difference. Seems the frequence output by OS4 is not compatible with my monitor As I said, not even PicassoMode96 won't open a screenmode I have created even though it's inside specs, without changing the frame size. I also have Boardtype=Radeon Cmplength=6 Interrupt=Yes Mode=800x600x16,32@60 Mode=1024x768x16,32@60 Mode=1280x1024x16,32@60 <- Native recommended resolution.

Clip should be in the background at most (imho). She doesn't have the music, sorry @Mikey_C Appologies for the general negative attitude towards this, but couldn't resist. Gone back to resume Frank Zappa Omnibus Wind Ensemble and to my keayboards Before my eyes shut down... Zappa without the guitar. Awesome!!!! Jack.

Or they could provide it in digital format on the CD and those that want to could print it out. Of course making the PDF A4 scale would help here then all you need to do is get one of those folders with the plastic envelopes, print it out and bam! one manual.
I remember those programming books that came with the C64, something like that also could be cool. I think those books, more than anything else, gave rise to the bedroom coder.

I've now updated the list of Amiga dealers stocking Total Amiga on our web site, you can find it on the following page: http://www.totalamiga.org/buy_distributor.htmlIf anyone knows of an Amiga dealer who might be interested in stocking Total Amiga either let me know or ask them to get in touch with us. Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!! How to program: 1. Start with lots and lots of 0's. 10. Add 1's, liberally. "Details for OS 5 will be made public in the fourth quarter of 2007, ..." - Bill McEwen Whoah!!! He spoke, a bit late.

This is a very good suggestion, Jurassicc. Some friends of mine have made very good experience with this since their theological publications are usually sold in smaller batches. They are very happy with the advent of print on demand. For some of you who have never heard of this, I suggest to read this article that I find on the world wide web.

Not too shy to talk
|
@ Athiest
It could be done relativly easily using digital printing aka printing on demand which keeps prices down and is designed for small runs.
No need for lithos etc.
Many companies even offer direct to door services. So all hyperion have to do is submit the electronic version to the company. And we order direct from the "print on demand" company. It gets delivered to you door. Hyperion gets a %age for every copy sold.

This thread is a very interesting read and helped me a lot in finding information about the new Amy-Amiga from Troika-company. It is great to have different options for new NG Amiga computers to buy. Are there some representatives of this company who might read this thread? It might help them at repairing their broken website. I could not find any information on the Panda-Amiga computer on the Troika website. Does this company host information on this other project somewhere else? Thank you!

@fuskoSCN
That is a good idea.
Hmm, maybe we could make 1 drawer per user inside that graphics drawer. So my drawer would be cald Dirk-B where i could put al my graphics in.
Just an idea.
