This is a very good suggestion, Jurassicc. Some friends of mine have made very good experience with this since their theological publications are usually sold in smaller batches. They are very happy with the advent of print on demand. For some of you who have never heard of this, I suggest to read this article that I find on the world wide web.

@ Athiest
It could be done relativly easily using digital printing aka printing on demand which keeps prices down and is designed for small runs.
No need for lithos etc.
Many companies even offer direct to door services. So all hyperion have to do is submit the electronic version to the company. And we order direct from the "print on demand" company. It gets delivered to you door. Hyperion gets a %age for every copy sold.

This thread is a very interesting read and helped me a lot in finding information about the new Amy-Amiga from Troika-company. It is great to have different options for new NG Amiga computers to buy. Are there some representatives of this company who might read this thread? It might help them at repairing their broken website. I could not find any information on the Panda-Amiga computer on the Troika website. Does this company host information on this other project somewhere else? Thank you!

@fuskoSCN
That is a good idea.
Hmm, maybe we could make 1 drawer per user inside that graphics drawer. So my drawer would be cald Dirk-B where i could put al my graphics in.
Just an idea.

Me too I have old manuals from my Amiga500, so I think its time for new printed manuals, for me it all depends on the packaging, I think over years I have used AmigaOS4 it?s worth the investment to get final CD, but only if it contains printed manuals. Hey, hey, NutsAboutAmiga!!!! While a printed manual is WAY COOL, if we want to only pay US $25, a BOOK costs about $25 by itself. AND it would be a small print run. It's really too bad, but they can't at this time request a 20,000 print run to get as low a rate as possible. What I'd like to see is a DVD made with almost, if not all of OS4Depot on there (useful Aminet stuff?), hi-def no loss from jpeg pictures of EVERY AmigaNG motherboard available, and lines drawn to point out all the components and their chip codes and what the dip switches do, etc., etc., also a picture of all the coders, or at least something about them, if they're too shy. Some audio of them, if they're up to it. Even something from people of the past too. HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE???? That'd be worth throwing down US$30. (Ouch, plus shipping.) (Hear that ms? You may have $20 billion in the bank, but you could NEVER EVER do this. Sad! Hahahahahaha!!!! )

Yes, this is what I'm planning to do. I still have to test my A2000 which had pb (dead?) last time I check. So I will send only one packet. Luckily, my A4000T runs without trouble.

Seconded. If I remember right, it was Orgin who originally implemented that on AW, no?
Hi jahc, Legion, AT LEAST it would be nice if the first three and last three pages were selectable. It can get quite messy if a topic goes out to 22 pages. 1, 2, 3, .... 19, 20, 21 Maybe 5, 10, and 15 listed too. (i.e. every 5th page.) Sorry, I know it's a pain to code for so many variations. That's why we need A.I.

Are you from Denill's thread on AW.net? First get the A1+ram to AmigaCenter/France (you are luckily close ) so Jean Jacquescould diagnoze it 1-st... Don't rush to join the club. And you'll know for certain if the mobo itself is ok. Good luck... Jack

Same here. Anyways, they seem to be doing quite well, in spite of the naysayers. Their workforce has been expanding by 100% per year for the past 3 years, and they seem to be branching out into all kinds of new money making ventures.
Not to mention OS5, which has been started already. Good things are happening!
Look at there web page many of there so called (AmigaDE) games now requires WindowsXP/2000, look like AmigaDE/Amiga anywhere, and the OS dependent development is taking over, it looks to me that Atari have made greater success in making games for Playstation, think they need to rethink a few things, like what like to be known for. I will need to wait and see what AmigaOS5 is about, but I think it not going to be ready when Amiga Inc expects it to be, just like Windows Vista, I think its where likely that have OS4.1 and OS4.2, OS4.3 before that is done, so OS5 is of no interest, or at least not until they have a product to show, but what are they going to do, how can OS5 be any better then OS4? I think spending time in moving code from PPC to x86 is waste of time, and it better spent/invested in developing drivers for PCI cards and upgrading to OS, whit interfaces common in windows and Linux, for example a interface for Bluetooth, USB2, driver for printers, firewire, Video4Linux (One common interface for TV cards and USB webcams), and maybe it time to not only think about the OS, but the complete package like Mac is doing, when you buy a Mac you get ITunes, IPhoto, IMusic, IMovies, OpenOffice, Microsoft Office demo you get X11 wrapper for MacOS desktop, and lots more, now imagine MacOSX whit out applications.

I would happily pay for a nice package. I hope there will be a lowered price for us who took the early bird offer though (and all others who have already paid for AmigaOS 4 to be included with their AmigaOne).
