I DL'd Anband from OS4Depot.Net and it won't work.

Have AOS4 pre release 4. I decompressed it.

Put it in Ram:game/angband-3.0.6 and started game by double clicking icon.

It came up with this marvelous error message:
: Unable to prepare any 'display module'!

Yes, quite clearly obvious what to do next.... Well, no I don't know what to do next.

Tried:
assign angband: ""
and
assign angband-3.0.6: ""

Didn't work, well, I'm out of ideas.

Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!!
How to program: 1. Start with lots and lots of 0's. 10. Add 1's, liberally.

I've just tried it on AOS4 classic with the February update.

Unpacked it to ram and double clicked the icon.

Got the error below.

Unable to open menu file 'xtra/cfg/menu.cfg'
Can't find xtra/sound/sound.cfg - sound support disabled

Apart from that, it works fine.

Try downloading it again.

Downloaded a sound package for Angband from OS4Depot.

Unpacked and moved the sound files into the Sound directory within Xtra.

Copied the sound.cfg file into Xtra and renamed it menu.cfg.

That got rid of the above error.

Sound like it cannot open a screen. Check settings or switch to window mode.
