In Shadow of Time (stuck, again)

I am currently in the Wild West part of the game.

I have managed to get rid of "Running Stallion" but I do not know which flower to pick. I thought I should use the camera and lcd receiver for this at first but this does not seem to work.

I've placed some explosives under a rock I'm supposed to move but I have no idea what to do next (nothing seems to work).

I have to beat the crap out of some indian but have no idea how.

I am also working on a "vision potion" (contains: squirt of monster hand and ghost fly, not sure which ingredients these are). I've tried using the iron-bar on the fire place (hint of fire) and then using it on the potion but this doesn't work.

LOL.

I have added "a hint of fire" to the vision potion. Now I just need "a chunk of nicotiana tabacum" to finish it. I may need some help with this as I'm more or less out of ideas.

I also need an invitation to a party but I think I'm supposed to finish the vision potion before I can get this.

What's the deal with the sign outside of the indian camp that says "TAD"? Is this a red herring or what?
