I am. But there's a general decrease (accroding to Team Amigaos 4 proxy stats). My A1 is crunching when it's on. Also HTPC, wife's Thinkpad when it's idle, a1200, couple of sgi's (funnily slower throughput per MHz than 68060) and 2xrs6000. Can't do more than that

It is sad, they got more and (sort of) faster CPUs.
It'd be a completely different story if we had 2.6 GHz 68060's (with altivec)!!!!!!!!

I agree that the project seems pointless now and also that there are newer and faster cpu's but since Christmas there seems to have been a sudden multiplication of the two top teams ans four other teams performances which cannot be explained by that alone. I think they have enrolled/ are collecting redundant teams members to bolster their flagging efforts. Cheating! that's wot it is.
I'm crunching for Team Amiga mostly whenever my A1 is on. Currently in 2572nd place in the OGR effort. My xp machine is also set up to crunch for TA, but it's hardly turned on these days, and then mostly for internet banking (darn Java). I made the mistake of "upgrading" to Norton Internet Security 2008 and the computer became sluggisher than ever. Oh yeah, the A1 is my main computer now! Anyways, why is this topic in "Too hot to handle" btw? I can't imagine the topic attracting that much heated argumentation
@Monoxyde dunno, I just thought it would grab the attention of any hard core dissatisfieds. My A1 xe is on 24/7, I would have done more to the effort had my CPU not fried a while back. I just felt that a third position would have been an excellent result for a non commercial hardware software setup, seems a shame to let it go wothout a fight.
I'll be passing the 5000th spot on the next time my ORG gets submitted.
Know where almost all of the extra OGR25 is coming from? It's got to be the quad core XPs and the PS3 Cell linux setups!!! If it weren't for those, we'd still be in there.
And as for the virus protection, my mcafee really slows down my computer too.
My 800 Mhz A1 G4 XE is on 24/7 for probably a little over a year now doing OGR25. Well, I've turned it off for maybe 3 weeks total.

// OK, there are one A1XE G4, 2 "standard" PC (one running XP, one running win2K), 1 Dual Core PC with XP... And 2 Windows 2003 Servers (8 cores each !)...

Nice.. i'd wish i could do more (14k yesterday), but since some time i'm away from home and can't use my Amigas and PS3 for crunching... so only my 2 Linux servers (1 dual core Opteron and one small Sempron) crunch 24/7 and my notebook whenever i'm using it ..
@AmigaPapst
ATM we just make a bit over 400k a day.. Free-DC (which overtook us some days ago) make over 1.4m a day! Team Warped which is one rank behind us makes almost 600k a day.. so if all the other Amigans out there don't start crunching dnetc or if none of you could capture the machines of a university we probably won't ever get any rank back but loose even more ranks
