MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT : We're proud to announce that Vintage Computer Festival GB will become a part of a new, bigger, better event for 2013. The dates are the 5th-7th July - the NEW festival and hosting venue will be announced before Christmas.

The new festival will be the first of its kind - one for everyone, from families to gamers. We're really excited, and we think you will be too.

The new event WILL be the first of its kind. Keep those dates free as you won't be disappointed! We'll have a new website and sister fan page on Facebook soon. In the meantime, please tell your friends and tell them to "like" this page for further updates. This will be much more than a retro event!

Amigans please note, I have been approached by the VCF people to help set up an Amiga area, so if you are a company or usergroup/developer/ etc who wishes to be there for the weekend best get in touch with me to register your interest.

Many thanks

Mikey C

Went to the VCF in June 2010 was a great day out at Bletchley Park, might wanna table myself actually - showcase my AmigaOne 500.

Depends where its taking place, anywhere in the Midlands would be perfect.

A very good reason to visit UK next year.

Also went to VCF 2010 at Bletchley Park and it was all fun.
Hope to get to this too then.

Not sure how to understand this. Are you saying there will be a) a web page and b) a page in FB? Or are you describing one and the same which will only be in FB? I sure hope the former is true, or it is irrelevant for me.

Best regards,

Niels

I don't know the answer to that, I just re-posted what the press release was from the actual show organisers.

When I have further information, I will post it back on Amigans :)

Rather than a sister FB page it would be more beneficial to have one fb page and have multiple admins, e.g Atari admin, Amiga admin etc etc
