Watching the UK Amiga30th on your Amiga? Yes!

Hi all,

Is everyone watching the UK 30th anniversary show on their Amigas?

The show posted the following link:

http://livestream.com/accounts/14493276/amiga30uk

If you load the page in Ibrowse (or a lesser browser), then open the page
source in Notepad (it's just not that hard, you can do it!),
search for "m3u8_url". The URL immeadiately after that string (less the quotes)
is an Amiga usable video link. It should look something like this:

http://api.new.livestream.com/account ... 232523_00001006_1@305860/*~hmac=33935743b40e6e5b262cf405ae69e9e8aa1c9b822a4f8f61684456e412975aed

I'm guessing it's session specific, so you'll probably need to find your own
version of that URL.

Then just run FFPlay with that URL...

FFPlay <URL>

Easy Peasy!

Here's even a link to the FFMpeg package:

Enjoy,

meh.... foiled again....

It looks like what's being sent out with the accessible
URLs in that page are changing and looping from time to
time. The most recent stream starts with Trevor talking
and then starts giving HTTP 404 errors.

OK.

Looks like I found another URL that does seem to be working.

:)

Search the LiveStream webpage for this string:

"rtsp_url"

The URL string after that should look like something like
this:

rtsp://212-123.livestream.com:8080/li ... 523_00011708_1_646@305497

...and that is working in FFplay.

It doesn't help that Michael Battilana just had them pull
the plug so he could show some "secrets". Blue screen.

Hopefully it'll be back momentarilly.

Thanks,

PJS

Are there (or will there) be recordings of this available to watch, on YouTube or for download? Some of the live music was real nice, so I'd love to get a copy.

I've put a few up here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list= ... d0WBQuYDhZAarlc4fgTb71U0q

I have a couple more, but they take so long to upload I got bored.

Do you have any more videos of Mike Clarke & Tim Wright playing music? I preferred their music, but my recordings were incomplete, awful & audio-only

Luckily some of the music they played has studio-recorded versions available (as well as other tracks they didn't play at the Amiga30th event):
