Amiga wordperfect to PC Word conversion

I have added a PC to my office mainly because I am a writer and publishers prefer Word format. Question: How do I convert the many many pages of Amiga WP to Microsoft Word? Ideas?

In your MSOffice CD, under install options there is an additional, set of converters for word. Install them.

Wow. Congratulations on staying Amiga only for so long. Its really kind of crappy that you had to cave in.

Edit: BTW is there any chance you could take some screenshots of the Amiga version of WordPerfect? I can't find any online, and I'm curious.

Guess what...? Just for the fun of it, I searched and found my ancient WP v4 disks and tried it on OS4 and... it works! Well, sort of. It tries to open in a custom screen, so I promoted it to a 640x480x16b screen, text drag bar works partially, screen info text are weirdly displayed and requesters are not able to show all options, but still it's amazing it works at all, you can load modify and save documents:



IIRC, there was even a version 5 of WordPerfect for Amiga.

Yes it amazing that program that old work, we are taking about programs designed for Amiga500 / AmigaOS1.3.

I don't think so, if you don't have a Catweasel card or use an old trick with two floppy drives (http://www.amigaforever.com/kb/3-118.html). There are many possibilities to transfer data: FTP, copying files to PC-readable disks (720KB/1'44MB) using CrossDOS, creating a CD with the data (MakeCD, now free, will do), using a terminal programs to transfer files via serial cable, copying data to some external drive/media combination that could be connected to the PC (ZIP/JAZ/tape/etc.)....
