Bad News!!

When i started my sam460ex today, it wouldn't display picture when i started, everything else was normal. i tried maybe 5-6 times, then i tried changing to another hdmi input on screen, and tried change another dvi adapter, removed usb, sound.
Then i tried to see what was going on while pressing power on, and i notice the Ati card fan spinning somewhat a little higher than usual, and after I examined motherboard little closer while starting up, i notice that a diode named D6 started to light up read, can't remember if that was normal. So i switch off immediately, i did take a look at the motherboard manual, and did some googling, but no luck, so wanted to ask here for some guides and help. What do you think it is.

everything is pretty normal when i switch it on, other than the slightly higher fan speed on the Ati card, and no picture.

And there is no issue with heating

I would try next is to switch graphics cards, if i have one. i also haven't tried different hdmi cables.

But not yet, for now, i do not dare to start it up until I know more of the red light.

Hi,

You can try to remove the graphic card completely and plug a monitor on the internal VGA connector. See if you have a display this way.

"D6 started to light up"

This sounds like some thing that should not happen, unless its a LED diode.

"What do you think it is."

If extra power cables to graphics card is not plugged in a lot AMP's can taken from motherboard, the motherboard on most computers this days are not designed for that, some thing will overheat and break.
A short circuit will do the same, check that you don't have any screws lose inside your computer.

yes, strange, i tried putting back the Radeon card, and it starts:) abd this D6 i not red anymore.

so everything is back to normal, but back in workbench my desktop was in full hd but only 50 hz, i had an look at Devs:Monitors and only pci was there

so i had to move the radeon from storage:monitors and "*Add" a new Full Hd with 60 hz. so now it working.

my refresh rate is showing 61hz, is it normal? i know it did this before it failed.

Looks like your Radeon was dislodged in the PCI socket
