On Aminet we can find the sourcecode of the latest VLC Media Player 0.8.6f release for MorphOS

Did't see there any mentioning that there's any gui successfully ported.
For all practical purposes, mplayer beats it (yes, id doesn't do dvd menus while vlc supposed to do) but it's workaround-able.
And mplayer (imho) will get proper dvd menus support.
Basic support already exists, requires some steps before compilation to enable it (accoording to my last attempt on linux).
