Cygwin cross compiling problem

I'm trying to cross compile Qt on my Windoze laptop under Cygwin, but I run into problems very fast.

I get this output:



So I guess something is wrong with my assembler?
Does someone have a working ppc-amigaos-as for Cygwin??

EDIT: I am using the binaries from ZeroHero.

EDITEDIT: Sorry, I was using c++ instead of ppc-amigaos-c++... Doh!

Trying to build QT with zerohero's gcc to see if the differences in gcc make the sense ?:)

No, just trying to speed up the build process before I get my dirty hands down to building libQtWebKit.so .

Did you found what cause slowneses btw ? Or in progress ?

No, nothing yet. At the moment I am working on a new release (0.8) that will give people a chance to use the "new" native menus and try the (horribly slow) designer. Once that is done, I'm probably going to try and get minigl to use frame buffer objects (currently I have no clue how to do this, so be patient). If that speeds up things, then hey, problem solved. If not, then I'm going to dig in deep.

You are calling the default x86 compiler, make sure to replace "c++" with "ppc-amigaos-c++" in your make files.

The same goes for gcc, g++, ar, as

Thanks in any case . I have already built libQtCore.so on cygwin, and it seems to work, so I'm a happy kid 8-D.

You are indeed brave enough. I imagine how slow all of this was on compiling stage for you :) With cygwin its for sure much better and faster. I do all the compiling work in last half of year only on cygwin, and then just copy exe on aos4 via network and do tests. Good that you manage to setup all that stuff, it for sure will speedup everything :)
