Who wants to compile this old tool for AmigaOS 4 ?

The original author of Azap (see here on Aminet) gave me the source code of this HEX editor.

Description:
AZap is a "new generation" binary editor able to edit files, memory or devices
like hard disks. It can open several windows at the same time, and while this
program cannot be considered as a tool to help you to recover a disk, it has a lot of useful functions (print block, fill block, search string, etc...).

If someone wants to port it to OS4, send me a PM and I'll give the source code.

Is there any assembler parts in sources ? If no, i can try (pm send)

I'll have to replace the harddrive in my µA1-C (old one is completely broken) and reinstall AOS4.1 but after that I'm willing to look into porting this program (my e-mail address is in my profile and on my website at the bottom).

Btw, i check 68k version, and its done on SasC and in changelog author write "rewriten on SasC". So its C. But the design of the programm itself a bit ugly and veeery retro (menus are done like old intuition of first versions) + have some bugs.

I used it quite a lot, but since an OS4 update it started to run weird.
So looked for an alternative and found Zaphod (os4depot, sources in AMINET), it has some bugs, but Zaphod works fine. I even tried to compile/fix, but as I'm not a programmer, didn't progress

If AZap can be recompiled/fixed would be fine.

Zaphod is ok but don't forget FileX on os4depot...
