RunInUae Problem
Just popping in
Just popping in

See User information
I have installed E-UAE_1.0.0_SDLGFX and manage at last to install RuninUAE but problem occurs when i start RunInUAE, it change the DH0: hardisk name to Workbench, it doesn't matter if i change it in .uaerc_RunInUAE file back, it makes new harddisk line which contains second DH0: which is named Workbench.

My DH0: name is always been System

iirc there are two .uaerc ini giles...one where the user can alter whatever he/she wants and one which is kind of hidden and holds all the mandatory stuff so that it will always run, even after the user has broken everything else

not sure where it resides...not on my setup rn

When launching RunInUAE it loads ENVARC:RunInUAE.cfg (it has the UAE executable it uses/runs)

Which one do you have?

my .cfg:
uaeexe = KDH1:Emul/UAE/uae
uaescr = n/a
uaepri = 0
uaebkg = 0
uaefds = 0
timeout = 20
wbprefs = 0

If you are running "directly" UAE_sdl executable (or whatever you like) from Shell/CLI, it uses AFAIK .uaerc config file, so look inside if it has

filesystem2=rw,DH0:Workbench:KDH1:Emul/UAE/RunInUAE/WB31,1

or something alike.

I have same as your config

RunInUAE.cfg:
uaeexe = Work:Emulation/E-UAE_1.0.0_SDLGFX/uae
uaescr = n/a
uaepri = 0
uaebkg = 0
uaefds = 0
timeout = 20
wbprefs = 0

There is no any
filesystem2=rw,DH0:Workbench:KDH1:Emul/UAE/RunInUAE/WB31,1

RunInUAE loads/uses IIRC .uaerc and .uaerc_RunInUAE

but if you run frrom Shell/CLI it opnly loads/uses .uaerc

Now i finally got it working the way i wanted.

.uaerc and .uaerc_RunInUAE files are identical and .uaerc file is write protected.

RunInUEA adds an that additional Workbench line to the RunInUAE configuration file, but the system works fine with that additional line now without problems :)
