Manual update download

Hi Bill,

after a HD crash i'm slowly building up my software collection again.

Is there a way to retrieve update 1.6 and if yes, where should i point my browser?

Reviewing some of the mails in your ml online there was talk about AmiUpdate being able to do so (given one has a UID and password).
Still i'm not sure if this was meant to be in 1.7...at least 1.6 is not triggered by AmiUpdate.

It would also be alright for me to simply wait for the 1.7 update (if it will be a cumulative one), otherwise it would be nice if you could send me the updates through eMail.

You can download the 1.6 update from http://www.digitaluniverse.org.uk/installfiles/

AmiUpdate has not been updated yet for this newer location, but will be when v1.7 is released.

To login you will need a UID and a password.

The UID is your name which is case sensitive and must have no spaces.
eg.

John Smith would have the UID "JohnSmith".

The password is your DU registration number which is not case sensitive and can be with or without the spaces.

If you want your UID to be something else let me know.
