In
OWB Doduo 2.2 I've implemented the AmigaOS4 font support, which is
much faster than libfreetype. It doesn't look as good, but at least on an AmigaOne the speed is usable now.

@joerg Thank you much for continuing to enhance OWB for OS4! It is, certainly, coming along nicely!

@joerg Thank you! amigans.net works really well, anyway! I'll play a little more while I'm waiting for all kinds of update downloads to correct problems with my wife's new Vista laptop. ebay motors is definitely working faster. But on the parts and accessories pages, trying to narrow down the searches with menu choices is harder to get through than it was with Blastoise. But I'm confident this will proceed as nicely as the previous version. Thanks, Joerg Paul

@xeron
Yes some one needs to update snoopy its useless for looking for frailer to open files, libraries/devices, and .so objects.
Maybe some one can recompile ldd to OS4.

@joerg Nice work! Do you think there will be any further optimisations? Scrolling seems much faster than OWB 1.9, and without the graphical glitches.

@VooDoo
It's not the final version, it's a preview one (as Joerg explained) so the options you mention are not yet implemented.
OWB 2.2 Doduo is just a snapshot of how the work is going.
Thank you joerg

@joerg It seems to be leaking somewhere... I got 512MB RAM in my A1 G4 XE and I usually got more than 300MB left when AOS 4 has finnished booting. When I used OWB 2.2 I got about 60MB left after some browsing... after quiting it and using "avail flush" a few times I got about 140MB left

@LiveForIt About"URL input box was not updated when clicked on links", see my answer above : this is a snapshot preview. Joerg already mentionned all that is missing at the begining of the thread (and he told us about the not updated URL box).
