It always was a sad song. Anyway, the local news site has changed their index page since Tuesday and now OWB can't load it any more. This index page (http://www.abc.net.au/news) has been my home page for years, even back in the IBrowse days.
But not any more. OWB just goes into a loop trying to load it. I've noticed that Firefox (on a PC) seems to take a long time loading the page, so something funny has happened.
Can anyone load it with OWB? How does it go with MorphOS' OWB?
@tonyw Here the same, stalled at loading and nothing goes more. OWB 3.31, OS4.1 Update 2 on Sam440ep with all ACube Uboot Updates. Try also deleting Cookiedatabase but not helps.
@tonyw Maybe Australia's infamous government porn/anything-they-don't-like filter is causing you problems? One explanation why someone in Sydney has problem, and someone from UK doesn't.... I'm almost serious
I tried with OWB 3.31 and OWB 3.32. Sometimes I get some stuff in the window, other times I get nothing. Always stalls at about the 504 KB mark.
Also having intermittant trouble accessing amigans.net and some other sites so may be trouble with our ADSL line or ISP.
Update... For me, http://www.abc.net.au/news seems to load ok using AWeb APL Lite, IBrowse 2.4, NetSurf 3.0 Development version, and TimberWolf public apha. Probably looks a bit different than you would expect when viewed with some of these browsers. OWB 3.31 is still no dice.

Works from here on A1 G4 with OWB 3.31 and latest OS4.x beta. It does display a photo of a certain media mogul in a prominent place, but I don't suppose that technically classifies as a failure to work as designed.
@nbache: Yes, it's funny that the site failed to load as soon as that story was posted on Tuesday. My computer must have a bias away from certain owners.
@ChrisH: AFAIK no such filter has actually been implemented. Besides, this is the quasi-government-owned Australian Broadcasting Corporation, It can't possibly be offensive
I've tried every OWB version from 3.28 to 3.32, they all do the same thing, load to about 450kB then loop. I can use the rest of the sytem but it's slow to repond.
Pity I can't turn off image loading the way you can in IBrowse. Then I could load each in turn. I think the problem is caused by some Flash images on the front page. If I type in URLs to lower-level pages without Flash, they work OK.
Are you guys sure you don't run out of memory or video memory, for example ?
That Flash thing could make sense but I didn't see any such ads on the site which would be depended on a country the visitor is from. Or maybe that's it, Australians sees some Flash ads which are not displayed to the rest of us ?
Rock lobster bit me - so I'm here forever X1000 + AmigaOS 4.1 FE "Anyone can build a fast CPU. The trick is to build a fast system." - Seymour Cray
@all Okay, testet a few things and when i disable MINFONTSIZE tooltype it works in OWB 3.31. More testing it works when the size is 13 and stop working when 14. Can anybody confirm this?
