Over 1300 files at OS4 Depot

Hello,

Today we now have over 1300 files on OS4 Depot

But there are only 775 files at aminet. I know that some files are not classified as OS4 files on aminet, but I think that some must be missing there.

It would be cool if we once again could have more OS4 files that MorphOS files on Aminet. We had that before gutjahr started hunting all kinds of MorhOS files on the net and uploading them himself.

I know it is not a competition, but it is always nice to be number one

I kind of liked the SDL top-list on aw, where somebody kept track of who ported what and made a top ten list over the porters and Toaks went on a porting rampage and ported everything SDL-like he could get his hands on...

A big thanks to all the programmers and porters that have made all these upload.

well why arn,t the other 500 or so there lets fix this and get to number 1

Because when people upload to os4depot they can choose not to allow it on aminet.

Although this was ignored once...

Well now there is no "upload to aminet" option on OS4Depot anymore, so one has to upload to both separately, which is a pain in my opinion.

I think most of my files are uploaded to aminet now anyway, I uploaded quite a few of them on friday this week.

indeed, in the past i have always used the possibility to upload the file on aminet too, but now there is no more this option

same here... most of the time i just couldn't be bothered to upload to aminet aswell. "i'll do it later..."
people, feel VERY free to upload all my missing stuff to Aminet, please please!

While I love Aminet -- it's too complicated to upload anything.

Presumably, if/when I ever finish, I'll "figure it out" -- or get someone to do it for me.

Until then, I'll stick with "self-hosting" (or OS4 Depot & Intuitionbase)

Actually, I made the web based upload feature on aminet.

I also made code for them that would allow replacing and oline editing of files, as you can on os4depot. But afaik they haven't added those parts yet for some reason.
