I have finally got AOS4.0 on an A1200T running Now, what I need to know is, How do I get the secondary channel on the IDE-FIX Buffered interface working, plus, How Do I get the 3COM Etherlink III PCMCIA Lan Card Working and get the A1200T on the net?
If you can help, its appreciated.

No cause is lost if there is but one fool left to fight for it.
The idefix buffered interface HAD to be plugged in during install, I didn't have a choice in it. However, it still doesn't see the secodary drive (which was not plugged in at installation)
I'll look on Aminet for the PCMCIA Ethernet 68k drivers.

When installing OS4 there is a flag you set to let the install configure the IDEFIX. You can still configure/add it to the system at a later time tough...
From memory somewhere in the "kickstart" directory there is a text file that tells the miggy what options to configure the kickstart with. The wording is something like "atapimajic" or similar that you simply add to this text file, and it will automatically configure the IDEFIX board on each boot. You should be able to find the exact command to add (just as I did), by going through the files in the kickstart directory area for information. From memory it wasn't that hard to find what the command was. If you need help, I could always look it up for you...good luck...
