Workbench hotkeys does not work under Norwegian language settings.

Amiga+D does not delete files.
Amiga+E does not refresh files.

Better if Amiga+J was changed to Amiga+A (velg alle) select all

It just occured to me, are the F1 to F12 keys set to do some action in AOS4?

Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!!

More keyboard pain under OS4.1;

I can't seem to be able to use any keyboard shortcuts using the right "A" (Windows) key.

I have tried with two (USB pc) keyboards.

Help?

Thank you

Are you sure you are really referring to the right Windows key, not the Windows Menu key? Some PC keyboards only have a left Windows key and a (right) menu key. In order to use that menu key as the right Amiga key, you can go into the UBoot prefs and set a checkmark at the bottom right corner of the fourth (last) tab page.

Best regards,

Niels

They have a Win logo on, and if I press CTRL+WIN+WIN OS4.1 resets so I suppose they are the right ones.

Great, I didn't know that. Thanks

I don't think Sam440ep users have Uboot prefs.

In that case typing this in uboot should work.

setenv kbddev_norwin yes
saveenv

Seems you're right. Maybe it hasn't been finished for the (changed) UBoot for Sams. It does exist in 4.1 for A1s, though.

But it should still be possible to make it work through UBoot's command line, as advised by the next posters.

Best regards,

Niels

Forget that equal sign from there. It's:
setenv kbddev_norwin yes

Good news!

I have sorted the problem with the "# ~" not being recognised by OS4.1!

I have added 0D to the GB keymap and now the key "# ~" ABOVE the Enter key works fine! YES!

So I have only got to figure out how to make the Amiga keys work (both Windows keys, left and right).

At the moment they aren't seen by OS4.1 not even for a CTRL+A+A reset.

This keyboard has all the keys know to man!

The two Windows keys (left and right) the Menu key the Alt Gr etc...

But for some reason OS4.1 doesn't see the Windows (left and right A).

HELP!

@everyone

More great news!

I have managed to put my hands on another keyboard and the left and right Amiga keys (Windows) work!

I don't know why they don't work on hte other keyboard...anyway another problem sorted.

All I have got left is t find out how to make the keyboard available to UBoot. At the moment UBoot doesn't see the keyboard at power on, it says only one device found (the USB mouse).

It seems obvious that the keyboard doesn't answer quickly enough to UBoot and Uboot says timed out...

Any help on this?

On a different note, how hot is your SAM board?

I have had it on for two hours and almost all the chips are hot to the touch, what about yours?
