hyperion's home page?

been trying to register my copy of OS4.1 for a week now so that I can install the update available on hyperion;s web site but after repeated attempts..still no go

and your best idea on how to solve the problem was to start a thread on random forum on the internet?
how about contacting your dealer or hyperion directly to solve the problem?

I think what SpotUp meant was that generally before going on an unrelated forum on the Internet one should try to contact the website's editor, then its dealer and then *if* none of the above () gave a decent answer/solution in a reasonable timeframe (a week each seems reasonable to me) one can go on a public forum with a *description* of its problem in order to find a solution, in other words : to put the cart before the horse.

Don't take it bad, that's just that none of us can do anything about it if there is something wrong on the Hyperion webpage, and you have better chances that Hyperion read about the problem (and correct it) if you contact them directly about that rather than writing it here.

My Amiga is my fun time..life is hectic enough!..anyhow as tired as I am I can't seem to find a contact email on their site?

I was able to register like a charm some week after OS4.1 was release and even get back my previous account and registered products, but that was more than a year ago...

I just successfully logged in using Firefox.

What browser did you use for your try? IIRC IBrowse doesn't work and OWB might cause problems. If you can, try using Firefox or so from a PeeCee, Mac or Linux box.

tried with OWB, IBrowse on my Amiga & also Firefox on my PC..still no go..contacted Amigakit & sent webmaster at hyperion's webpage emails so hopefully problem will be resolved soon

All this was done around Thanksgiving 2008! Re-registered everything; got all my updates!
But, I can NOT login today= Thursday, Sept 11, 2009 and what '328gts' is saying. Can you login to 'H' ?

Were you a previous registered user at Hyperion (OS 4.x, Quake, Shogo, etc.) ? If yes then did you read this ?

I just tested a few seconds ago and I'm login fine !

hi, no I'm a new user. Just tried again with no luck..

well tonight I tried 3 different email addresses and by luck I managed to create an account with the 3rd email address !...fianlly can get my extra 512Mb into my Sam & close my case..crazy shit

Good to hear that you managed to register. Do not feel bad about it there are lots of sites that do not let you use certain email addresses.

still, being a small business owner myself, I can tell you that customer service is everything & Hyperion should have AT LEAST responded to my many emails to them..not to mention posts on Amiga sites....
