That's nice to know. Looks like Warp3D is finally close.
I had no idea that they were so far along with converting Libre Office. To have this product is a bit like having Timberwolf - it opens up the Amiga to being far more useful for day to day work.

They AREN'T far along. The "75%" figure is a bit misleading if you don't carefully read it: They are 75% of the way to compiling the first executable. (Which will most definitely crash before it get's far. They then have a long road to stopping it crashing & getting all the parts to work.)
The news is really good but don't expect miracle (almost on first stage) even when compiled and ported still to see the real usability of the final package .. i'm expecting the same issues we already saw in Timberwolf and QT programs .. of course i hope to be wrong but past experience ...
I doubt it can sold, Libre Office is LGPLv3, nothing stopping you donating though. If there is no official way to donate you could always donate to timberwolf and add a note saying it's a libre office donation.

LibreOffice is licensed under the terms of the LGPLv3 (new contributions are dual-licensed under both LGPLv3+ and MPL). This means you're free to use it for personal and commercial use, you're free to copy it and give copies away, and you're free to modify and redesign the source code, and to create derivative works. For details, please read the licence below and/or visit the licensing FAQ.
Yeah, I found that too, doesn't mention that you're free to sell it, but then the whole point of GNU was that it is always free and if you used anything from any GNU project you weren't allowed to sell it and had to provide the source which no company is going to do.
I've not tried libre Office yet, might fire up linux and have a play with it as it comes pre-installed on the X1000 debian setup.

I won't donate for a possible "libre office" projekt. But I will pay for a ready and full useable libre office software. If I would pay (donate) before it's ready we may be become a software which is not really useable like timberwolf.
