Quite a regular

Since Enhancer Software v1.3, a new tool called Updater has been added which allows periodic updates of the components in the Enhancer Software.

A summary of the available Updater system files can be found here

To commence the update process, the following public releases have been made:

Updates are always good, but I don't much care for updates that reset my preferences to the default, requiring me to reconfigure.

It was always my person bugbear with YAM, and it's disappointing to see it happening with Enhancer software as well.

Regarding Clock and Calendar, Updater should have asked you ro overwrite the .info file during the download no ?

OK, i admit that you had to know firstly that the settings were stored in the .info file.

Select Clock or Calendar in Updater and click on "Information" button to see the Changelog for these components.

There was no option indeed but none of my prefs were modified thus Clock and Calendar kept theirs prefs unmodified after the update.

I just checked, there is the option to download or not the .info for Calendar.

But for Clock .info file is not downloaded from the server, therefore, indeed, no option for Clock (Matthew is notified)

Hi,

Updater 53.37 freezes AmigaOS and a hard-reboot is needed when selecting "About" from the project menu.

It does so also when using the keyboard shortcut RAmiga+?
That's on the X5000/20 have not checked on the X1000 and Sam.

I'll post it in the mantis bugtracker when I've checked on the other machines.

Are others programs using InfoWindow.class work for you ?
For example, is Clock or Calendar InfoWindow About window works fine ?

Everything updates here apart from Updater which gives the following errors.
I get this one first.

And whatever I select I always get this one.

All the other updates update its just this one.
Any ideas ?.

Just tried these.

Amidvd downloaded ok.
Tunenet did not.
X-dock downloaded ok.

It also downloaded the updated Warp stuff the other day all ok.
