Home away from home

been a while since I used it but wanted to mess around with it today and got an immediate system crash at startup ??...OS4.1FE latest updates installed.

I have Audio Evolution 4.0.13 and it's working without issue here on my SAM flex.

strange as I purchased it right before it was released as Freeware and I don't think there's been any updates after that ???
I'll try downloading the latest freeware version on os4depot and see how that goes

I have Audio Evolution crashing a lot as well.

does it start up at all? mine crashes my X1000 right after I start it up

Just can't stay away

No crashes here, just a couple of errors:

Couldn't open RealTime interface!
Couldn't allocate audio hardware!

Audio hardware error sorted by using unit0 HiFi 16bit Stereo ++ instead of HDAudio 32 bit modes.

I also have 4.0.13 working fine here on X1000 with Unit0 HiFi 16bit Stereo++.

I did see the audio hardware error before switching to that mode, but not the RealTime error.

Hol* cow, I tested AE today and it didn't crash at all !

Using 16bit audio mode as well.

Starts right up on my X1000. Don't know if there are any problems after that as I don't really use it that much.

for some reason problem solved by installing free ware version on os4depot and as I understand it Davy released the latest version so no idea why my purchased version would no longer start??

anyhow problem solved
