X1000 startup issue

A Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays to all!

After opening up gifts with family and before brunch I turned on my X1000 like I do everyday except this time I had to rush upstairs to be a mediator in a teen siblings squabble....after 20 minutes I came down to my familar workbench but mouse was frozen...I couldn't soft boot system as keyboard was frozen too...pressed power button up once and system shut off normally.

Booted up no problem and checked emails and did some browsing etc and all good so decided to try again to boot up system and not do anything for 20 minutes and same issue? I don't have any screen savers set up or CANDI (which was giving me hanging issues last time I used it a while back)

I've got latest updates including Enhancer updates.

I'm afraid to ask, but do you have a serial cable attached?
A log would be great...

If it happens always after roughly 20 minutes it does seem to be something starting exactly then and bombing.

Did you check your user-startup and WBStartup?

yup have a serial cable somewhere lying around but honestly 99.9% of the time I'm always using my system at startup and then keep it on all day with no issues at all....I'll dig deeper into this mystery once I sort out my Amiga 4000 which is in pieces after solving a sound issue

A list of programs in WBStartup and your startup-sequence, user and network-startup would help too.

But it sounds more like a program locking up that's already running.
