White Screen Issue When Booting My Amiga 1200 – Need Help!

Hi everyone,

Iam having an issue with my Amiga 1200. When I power it on, instead of the usual Workbench screen, all I get is a blank white screen. The system was working fine until recently, but now it won’t boot properly.

I have checked the power supply, video connections, and tried reseating the accelerator card, but the problem persists. Iam not sure if it could be an issue with the Kickstart ROMs, the capacitors, or something else entirely.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or knows what might be causing this? Any tips or suggestions for troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!"

try to boot without start-sequence

if that helps

set echo on
on top of startup-sequence
it should print and stop at the line it stalls

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try booting without the startup-sequence and adding set echo on at the top to identify where it stalls. Hopefully, this helps resolve the white screen
