@rwo great work man. I'm really fan of opengl screenblankers. Will you import any of these, like "Euphoria" which is my beloved? Also a few ideas. Could you make a bounching boing ball? Maybe it could be just like the Amithlon boot screen or the first boing ball in the history of amiga! Could you make a clone of the boot screen of an A1200 with the diskette going in the drive?
I'm a total noob when it comes to OpenGL, but I gave Shadow my BlankerModule framework so he chould redo his GLMatrix for our new ScreenBlanker system.. Who know he migth suprice os with some GL blankers in the near future.
About your ideas lets see if I get the time to do any of them.
I dont know that one. Is it just a Spotlight there moves around the screen?
RWO
Sorry, I made a mistake in the name. It should be antspotlight, an Xscreensaver. "Antspotlight draws an ant (with a headlight) who walks on top of an image of your desktop or other image."

Thanks for these screen savers RWO I'm surprised that we haven't had more screen blanker modules created for the new system so this is a nice list.
A couple of ideas:
The speed of the new "3D" looking blankers. I always like to run a screen blanker at the same resolution a my Workbench. Seeing GLQuake & WipeOut 2097 (Quick examples) run at the speeds they run, I'm certain that we can have smoother savers in 3D at higher resolutions. Is the speed down to the original code not exactly being optimised for the OS?
With the "Scale" option that you have in a few of the blankers. Have you considered using Overlay for that? I'd see this as a quick fix to just getting the blankers to use the same screenmode as Workbench but saving in the slowdown when resizing.
Blanker options:
I'd like to see more blankers 'changing' as they go, rather than using the settings entered & staying like that. For example, the maze blanker. How about having a Min & Max size so each time the maze starts again, it'd pick a random size between those settings. The black hole; How about if that, every so often, speeds up & slows down, or reverses rather than staying the same all the time.
I could go on, I've had loads of ideas in the past where people have used them but not give me any credit for the suggestion (Excluding Alexw & Bean) so I'll leave it at that unless you'd like to hear more... Hope you get the idea though
Here's a nice blanker I use on my Mac, it's open source so the code is available but I don't know what else it would rely on & whether or not 4.0 has the necessaries.
As I mentioned above, Overlay could be the better solution for scaling this one.
Now what did I have to do to get you to do an AmigaAmp/TuneNet blanker plugin again? (cos I'll do it!).
Ha did it, I ported Subspace AmigaAMP plugin to a ScreenBlanker module just for you.. I did it in a really hurry so it proberly full of bugs and other stuff.
So do you owe me a SID Timeout and/or a play only default sid tune ? :)

Here it is the website of the openGL screensavers I talked you about. There is also the source code available. http://www.reallyslick.com/ I'd love to see any of these in our beloved OS4.0. Give it a try.
