Lha / Unarc Problem

Hi,

Having a problem here in regard to spaces in filenames.

Okay when I create an archive with lha it DOES seem to correctly store spaces in filenames. But when I extract them using Unarc it is replacing the spaces with underscores.. what am I doing wrong?

Ah never bloody mind. If I add -H0 into Lha it preserves the spaces in filenames... what stupid behaviour! :(

It's a xadmaster bug. You need to get the updated LhA client from here:
http://www.unsatisfactorysoftware.co.uk/download.php?file=xad_lha

There is a massive thread about it somewhere (probably on aw.net). Hopefully the fixed (internal) LhA client will be part of Update 3.

Thanks.

I never realised this was happening when I was packing Jack ready for distribution. I've added the -H0 argument into Jack itself as well ito SendToArchive()

Hmm, it's better to keep the higher header level, as the archives are identified as being created on an Amiga then. There are a few oddities with permissions etc, where that information is quite useful.
