Every morning I fire up Amiupdate, expectant of a nice little surprise.
Does anyone else get that sinking feeling of disappointment when presented with this?
It is crazy how this litle operating system that we love so much can evoke such emotions!

@ddni
Haven't fired up AmiUpdate once since the update. Have work to do on the machine, so no hurry for me. Have to replace the psu and gfx card. Also plugged in my lilliput 7" monitor at the moment.

@ddni You've just had a years worth (maybe two) of updates in FE. The Solie clan has grown again so he doesn't have the time to dig through the piles of dirty nappies to find his amiga so things will be slow for a while. The devs and beta testers worked their arses off getting FE ready for christmas, give them a break. it's not easy tracking down bugs, not knowing what clashes with what causing the bug, not knowing if an update will kill your system, having to run every bit of software every update to check it's still ok and of course all done in your spare time for free...

@ddni
hehe I'm always happily surprised when an update comes up too
I think we got very spoiled with the many updates leading up to FE, btw, anyone else have some login screen prompt when starting AmiUpdate with FE? never had it before and I just close the prompt and any updates still come through??

If anyone thinks I am moaning, you are mistaken. I am very pleased with 4.1FE. I just hope that the news about Hyperion's bankruptcy is not the end of the line for AmigaOS development. ....

@ddni
nah if anything it'll make us stronger! A-Eon & Amigakit have spent way to much money & time not to see this coming and I'm sure a formal announcement from them will be coming very soon
@ Chris
I guess no such worries anymore & I'll just need my A-Eon login or AmigaOS.net

@ddni salass00 is right, Ben has confirmed it was an administrative cock-up, nothing more.

Dave,
Not to make you jealous, but we beta testers see almost daily AMIupdates.

@xenic YAM 2.9p1 here. just reverting to the previous muimaster.library solves it for me.
