It would be good if it can handle automated silent cross-compile toolchain and install other software from its own installer.

Access to Internet eg wget commands
compress/decompress
MD5/SHA creation and validation
File dependency list
Install fail, online notify.
So we can have full developer package suites installed in one go :).

It should be possible. On Huno's DVD there are plenty of games, where there is a script to download game content, and it uses wget.

I've also done it before with http-handler (obviously there's a dependency issue with that though).

Compression/decompression, even auto-building stuff can be done easy enough by calling commands with run.

I'd like to see the script creator be able to automatically generate scripts that can work silently through AmiUpdate (see http://www.unsatisfactorysoftware.co.uk/?pg=autoinstaller)
