A lot of time passed since the last update on anything that has to do with QT. Is his still alive? Does anyone work on aything for QT? Is there anywhere a newer version than 1.1.0 that exists on OS4Depot?

@benny No there is a native QT made by Afkil (Thorbjørn Wennermark), I hope he is around.

It seems that even QT 4.7 needs some update. The latest version complains on my system about multiple families on font config files. Also, I guess that it needs a recompile to use the newest AmiSSL, which I think it uses. It would be a pity all this work alfkill did to die.

This happens on any program, even on the demos that come with QT 1.1.0

@zerec there is a attempt to get Qt 6.4, but there is some problems that might need os4 core development, webkit is one of the areas that fails apparently, and alfkil apparently worked himself into the famous 'wall', which never should be ignored how serious that is for your health (and it takes a long time to recover). personally I think signals need to be worked, on among the things os4 core anyway needs to fix.

I am trying to build alfkill QT6 project on cross-compiler, but I haven't been able to build it completely.
Here are some of his reaction to my questions:
https://github.com/alfkil/amiga-qt6/issues/1 Maybe a more experienced developer/user can take a look at it..

@SinanSam460 I have not given up hope completely. The current work on Qt6 got stalled because of a bug in elf.library. I am trying to find out, if this has been fixed already. I am also in a moving situation, so it will be another month, before I can resume work.

@alfkil Btw, just in case you miss it : in latest ogles2.library (currently 3.3) Daniel add multicontext support, so it should help with your ogles2 issues you have before when porting QT.

@SinanSam460 I have left a comment for you in the issues pane in the Qt6 repository.
