Read the FDTool.doc in the OS4.0 "Documentation" drawer. (I don't remember in which OS4 version a1floppy.device came with the first time. OS4 Final ?)

I think you can use 2 floppy drive with the right cable,
I never tried to format a floppy on my A1, but
for shure it can read and write 1.44 floppy

FD0: formats to 1.3Mb, while PC0: formats at 1.4Mb using CrossDosFS handler. A floppy IDE cable with two heads should work.

The device driver should see either or both floppy drives.
It doesn't matter where you connect them (Master or Slave).

Formatting is a problem since there is no way to tell the driver how you want a disk formatted. It can only format a 1.4 MB disk as 1.4 MB and a 720 kB disk as 720 kB.

cheers
