First post from my Sam440ep!

Read the title . Made using OWB 3.5 on AmigaOS4.1 .

I've actually had it for over a week already but I needed a slim SATA cable so I could connect the DVD-RW drive to it and install AmigaOS4.1. The computer store didn't have the cable in stock so it took a while.

Currently I am still busy setting up OS4.1 on the Sam just the way I want it. ClickToFront, OWB, AmiUpdate, diskimage.devicem, amigakeyremapper, ...

I've also downloaded the SDK so soon I will also be able to use it as my 4th development system (counting the 2 PCs that I have installed cygwin and m68k/ppc-amigaos crosscompilers on),

That's great, first investigation is finding out why the heavens when we write to our dvds on our SAMS whether we use frying pan or amidvd that our speed is restricted to x2 dvd

I'm using x16 tdks and it just isn't right

I even edited boot config to disable dvd support and mounted another handler, allgreo? it writes at the same speed

the drives are plugged into the right sata ports and all the drives are using udma settings...

seems all the SAM users are experiencing this...

I'm not sure why I'm blabbering this out now... guess I just finished writing 5 dvd backups over the course of 6 hours... house work too...
