SAM 440 and the new RadeonHD drivers (SOLVED)
Not too shy to talk

Hi everybody.

I read in other posts, that Spectre 666, have his SAM working with the new RadeonHD drivers, so I try, get two cards and buy the driver, but for now with luck.

I have two Radeon HD series boards, one PCIe ( HD6450) and one PCI (HD5450), and the radeon HD for the Sam460 drivers, but with both cards my SAm440flex don't star.

I see the UBoot start and load the kickstart, but stops at the end of load. And the system don't load.

My sistem is :

Sam 440flex at 800MHz
UBoot 1.3.1e
AmigaOS 4.1u4
RadeonHD drivers for 460 (buy it and download from A-EON)
I have a monitor in devs named "Radeon", it works fine with the 9250

Someone know what it's wrong ?

Thanks

Well now it's working very fine.

I add a new monitor, with specific name "Radeon HD5450", and board name in tooltypes, but fails again.

Then I read the comment fromm Salass00 about diskimage device, and the "SYS:Kickstart/Kicklayout". There is the problem, the new RADEONHD.chip isn't inserted in the file, I edited, and ......

Yessssssssss. now I have a Radeon HD 5450 working in my Sammy, but only shows 256 Mb of RAM, and have it have 512 Mb.
The next step. Test a 5770 and a PCI-PCIe bridge.

Thanks.
