But it is a single a little column, it is nothing.
A little column maybe, but it is read by almost 12,000 people so may spark memories of ages past, if only in a small percentage. who may remember "When Computing was Fun"
This Puny World will bow down to Professor Chaos Prepare for the greatest Villan you have ever seen!!
@Amiga1200Mark I came back to Amiga last year just because i stumbled upon the "still alive" video on you tube (and go figure how much I had to dig up on the net after that just for some confirmation that new developments were truly taking place). So, who knows, maybe that simple column in PC Format might have light a spark in many unsuspecting ex amigans.
SamFlex Complete System + AmigaOS4.1 Update 4 Amiga 2000 GVP GForce-040 Picasso II AmigaOS3.9 BB2 Amiga CD-32
Completely agree mate. I went on holiday last year and took my Amiga Future magazines with me and I had so many people having a look at them. They had no idea the Amiga was still alive. It would be interesting to know if A-EON have any plans for some advertising of the system to attract new users. Advertising is expensive. Im not sure whether to get the Sam460 or save up even more for the X1000. Both look like excellent AmigaOS systems. Long live the X1000, Sam series, long live AmigaOS and long live Amiga!
At the end of the day as was said "it's better than nothing", why be negative hey???
Besides if you DO think that it is nothing then why comment on a thread about a topic which you consider nothing. Surely it's inconsequential to you anyway??
Plus PC Format obviously thought it a large enough "blip" to tell their readers about it so why complain?? If you can't have the world then surely a place to lay your head will do?? It is after all somewhere to build from. . . .
