Connect 3.5 IDE HD to Sam460ex

I have some old Amiga HD's, for example the main one I used many years ago for an Amiga 1200. It is 3.5 IDE.

What is the best way to connect this to a Sam460ex?

I was thinking an external HDD cabinet with USB 2 could work? If yes, will AmigaOS 4 be able to read the HDD once connected?

Thanks in advance for suggestions. :) Would be great to back up some of that old data before the HDD stops working (it might have, but hopefully not).

I have a generic one that i can test, it should work since you can boot of usb.

Should work fine, just as long as you didn't use some fancy third party filesystem on your disk back then (like PFS, for instance).
